COORDINATION OF DEPARTMENTAL WORK FLOW:
is responsible for coordination of basic departmental work flow:
as the focal point for coordination of communication, management of the record both electronic and paper, as a resource for interdepartmental services and communication and the management of basic departmental data (transport logs / client account tracking / patient satisfaction initiatives) , knowledgeable as it relates to down time processes, management of stock and clerical supplies.
Effectively understands and operates equipment appropriate to the department clerical needs.
DOCUMENTATION AND MANAGMENT OF THE MEDICAL RECORD Responsible for documentation of vital signs and weights as requested in compliance with policy and standards Knowledgeable in the review of data within the electronic record Knowledgeable in the entry and review of orders utilizing the Provider Order Management system PARTICIPATION IN THE GENERAL UNIT OPERATION:
Responsibly manages resources in a conscientious manner.
Participates in the cleaning and storage of equipment in compliance with Infection Prevention standards.
Participates in process improvement initiatives for the department and facility as directed.
STANDARDS / POLICY & PROCEDURE:
Responsible for knowledge of policies & procedures and Standards related to HIPPA, Code of Ethics, Use of POM, Meditech usage, departmental standards and performance initiatives etc.
