You track ingoing and outgoing inventory, perform daily cycle counts, and report any discrepancies you are unable to reconcile.
You will spend time learning and working in our shipping/receiving department allowing you to learn about our products, become familiar with our clients, and aware of any challenges you may need to address.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.
Develops and maintains good working relationships with clients.
Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
Researches and recommends updates/changes to inventory order points.
Works in the Shipping/Receiving department fulfilling client orders.
Has full working knowledge of the entire Shipping/Receiving department, from beginning to end.
Performs other related duties as requested.
Operates pallet jack when necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES Excellent communication skills with coworkers, clients, and outside vendors.
Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
Proficient keyboarding skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook / Teams / etc.
).
Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Understanding & Experience with Quickbooks.
Excellent writing skills.
Operates from a proactive mindset, rather than reactive.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
Adobe or other design software experience a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods on your feet in the shipping department picking, packing, and shipping.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to navigate storage/warehouse and reach items both high and low.
