ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Essential job functions are duties that are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily; other duties being assigned as necessary to department, or company mission.
Full cycle of AP functions, including but not limited to matching, vouchering, and General Ledger coding.
Processes weekly invoices for payment.
Disburses and balances Petty Cash.
Assist with the reconciliation of credit card and other charge accounts.
Assist with vendor statement reconciliation.
Maintains accounting files and other documentation.
Pulls weekly check run, matches invoices to checks, ensures approvals and signatures are in place before distribution.
Maintains postage meter.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate in Accounting preferred SENSORY/PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee typically encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
An employee must be willing to work any shift or required overtime, as needed, on a seven-day work cycle depending on company needs and customer production demands.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
