Requirements:
Area of Responsibilities Assists therapist in non-clinical tasks and performs clerical duties as assigned.
Assists therapists under direct supervision to monitor number of repetitions of patient exercises, providing support to patients getting on or off a machine, handing the patients weights, or alerting the therapist of a patient need.
The aide provides no independent direct care to the patient.
Maintains confidentiality Maintains equipment and patient care areas:
dusting, cleaning, equipment, toys, keeping all areas organized including storage Maintains stock of supplies and cleans therapy equipment Assembles and disassembles equipment as needed Cleans mats and changes linen after each patient Keeps working environment safe, neat and clean Compliance Statement Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program.
Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.

Received:
Staff Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapist shall provide 100% on site supervision of the aide.
On site supervision is defined as being in the same physical facility and the therapist shall be readily available at all times to provide instruction to the aide.
A licensee can supervise a maximum of two aides.
